A trek around Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters) in Western Nepal, the 7th highest peak in the world, is considered a most rewarding achievement. This isolated trek offers amazing natural scenery, evergreen forests, blossoming rhododendrons combined with native warm hearted people, with their mixed Hundu & Bhuddist culture. Crossing the renowned high mountain passes of the area, including the French Pass (5,360 meters) and Dhampus Pass (5,182 meters), through snow and glacial morraine and glaciers. This high route makes it's way around the massive, visiting the iconic Dhaulagiri base camp, crossing high passes and finally joining with the Annapurna circuit. A strenuous and high altitude route for those comfortable with basic mountaineering. Accommodation is a mixture of Tea Houses and camping.
