Get up close to rhinos, tigers and even ride on an elephant!
Chitwan was Nepal's first national park and is a testament to animal and plant conservation, with over 68 species of mammals and 544 species of birds. It is particularly renowned for protection of the one horned rhinoceros, royal bengal tiger and gharial crocodile.
You can take a jungle walk, watch the birds, float through the forest in a canoe, visit local villages and experience the jungle from the back of an elephant. A great place to relax, explore and to take children.
